Please help us in extending the archives
Parents of recent and not so recent Jes rowers (and the rowers themselves), we would love to see the photographs you took when your children rowed at the Jes. Many of these photographs will now be hidden in bottom drawers and on old computer discs.
Our plan is to expand the history of CIRC on our website. Where possible, photographs should include relevant information such as names, crews, year, and location. Casual shots in and around the club or at regattas are very acceptable. Photographs on paper will be scanned and returned to you. Please understand that we may not be able to use all photographs -- the aim is to represent as many crews as possible.
Your contributions will help the development of a permanent photographic history of the many fine young rowers who learned to row at the Jes. You may have noticed that many of the photographs from the CIRC website are now also being added to the archives of the School website.
And to others interested in helping the Jes Rowing Club
We have recently been given many photos of Jes crews from previous years. To the many who have provided these photos that are now an important part of the archives, we thank you. We are most grateful.
If you have any other photos that you think might be of interest to the club, please send us a copy. We will scan them and then return them to you.
