1999: The Jes crew who won the men's Junior 16 eight at the Championship regatta. Bow Shane Cawley, Mike Ryder, Andrew D'Arcy, Bryan O'Carroll, Cormac Folan, Philip Roxby, Barry Croke, Declan Folan (stroke) and Ciaran Glynn (cox).
 

1999: Men's Junior 18 eight, winners of the Anderson Cup at the Galway Regatta.  This was the first win of the Anderson after a gap of nineteen years. The crew, from left is Padraig Bracken, Philip Roxby, Marc Stephens, Cormac Folan, Niall Folan, Oleg Kelly, Dominick Burke, David Cuddy, with cox Ciaran Glynn and coach Redmond O'Brien.

At the Regatta, Jes crews won the Mens Junior 14 Cox Quad and Junior 15 Cox Quad. Womens crews won the Junior 16 + 8, Junior 16+4, Junior 18+8 and Junior 18+4.

Padraig Bracken went on to win four gold (Eights & Fours both days) at the 1999 Coupe de la  Jeunesse  at Iniscarra, Cork.

Dominick Burke went on to be selected for Goldie - the second Cambridge University boat at the annual Oxbridge boat race.

Jes rowers competing at World rowing events have included:

World University Championships – Padraig Bracken, Marc Stephens and Eddie Mullarkey.

World Cup Regattas – Heather Boyle, Cormac Folan and Liam Molloy.

World U23 Championships – Heather Boyle, Michael Ryder, Niall Kenny, Liam Molloy, Eddie Mullarkey and Aifric Keogh.

World Senior Championships – Heather Boyle, Liam Molloy, Cormac Folan, Aifric Keogh and Niall Kenny.

Olympic Games – Cormac Folan.

The above list is almost certainly incomplete.

The Jes Rowing Club celebrated 60 years of rowing on the 30th October 1994.

1994:  The Women’s Junior 18 four that won silver medal for Ireland at the Coupe de la Jeunesse in Hazewinkle, Belgium.
